What technical conditions are required to produce high-quality bearing rings

Industry experts pointed out that bearing rings refer to hot-rolled or cold-rolled (cold-drawn) seamless steel tubes for the manufacture of ordinary rolling bearing rings. The outer diameter of the steel pipe is 25-180 mm, and the wall thickness is 3.5-20 mm. There are two kinds of ordinary precision and high precision.

The special steel grades for bearings used in the production of bearing rings are as follows (marked with G indicating "rolling"): chromium bearing steels such as GCr6, GCr9 (SiMn), GCrl5 (SiMn); chromium-free bearing steels such as GSiMnV (Re), GSiMnMoV (Re), GMnMoV (Re); carburized bearing steel such as G20CrMo, G20Cr2Mn2Mo; high carbon chromium stainless bearing steel such as 9Cr18 (Mo) and so on.
The technical conditions for the production of bearing rings are relatively strict, and the chemical composition, mechanical properties, process properties, grain size, carbide shape, and depth of decarburization layer of the finished products are required to comply with the relevant standards.
